1:1 ADHD Coaching

As an ADHDer myself, I GET the struggle of doing the more dreadful yet necessary tasks in life... taxes, phone calls, answering emails, completing a load of laundry, doing the fricken never-ending dishes, cleaning the house, getting ready for bed... you name it!

If you want intimate accountability... like a friend but more reliable, I AM HERE FOR YOU. 💖

SO, in order to truly be here for you in the best way possible, I have a unique service that I want to over-deliver to you!
Here's how it works:
1) Each session is 90 minutes so that we don't feel like rushed or constricted when we connect. (We are both ADHDers, after all... many of us like to talk!! 😅)

The first 15 minutes: We can check-in and connect with each other for about 15 minutes before we dive into 60 minutes of focused coaching time.

The middle 60 minutes: During this focused coaching time, I can help you clarify your desired life and the version of yourself you will need to step into to achieve your desired life. I can also help you prioritize and make a plan of action to achieve your goals and desired habits. This time can really be for anything that serves you best, such as creating a routine or habit tracker together, creating meal plans or cleaning lists... whatever you need to thrive in life!

The last 15 minutes: The last 15 minutes of the session will be for making an action plan and determining what kind of accountability I should provide you within the next two weeks so that you can follow-through and make progress with ease!~

2) Within two weeks after each session, you will receive either one check-in phone call (up to 15 minutes) or several check-in texts.

Why? Accountability is SUPER important for ADHDers. This is the main way we can follow-through on tasks (because otherwise, we often lose motivation or forget... am I right? 🤪)

How does this work? Together, we will figure out what kind of accountability will best support you to do whatever it was we talked about you doing during your 1:1 coaching session.

Option 1: You will have the option for me, Coach Theresa, to personally call you one time within two weeks of your coaching session so that you can debrief your progress or get a pep talk to get started if you'd been avoiding something (which does happen... life is hard sometimes).

Option 2: You also have the option of getting several check-in texts from me, Coach Theresa, to make sure you are staying on track. Again, these can be motivational texts if you have been struggling to get started... or reminders if you keep forgetting to do something!

3) If you want additional support beyond the 90-minute individual coaching session and the follow-up(s), we can certainly talk about some add-on options. 😊

Maybe you need additional support to actually do the work. A body doubling session with Coach Theresa might be the personal touch you need to be accountable!

Perhaps you crave some custom printable habit trackers or routines specific to your unique life and goals... Coach Theresa can make these for you!

Additional fees will apply, but I'm in your corner, so they will be reasonable.

To summarize, here is what this coaching service includes:

90-minute sessions

Add-on options will also be available, such as body doubling sessions and customized printables/trackers/templates such as routines and habit trackers.

And remember, if you live in British Columbia and have insurance coverage for a Registered Social Worker, you can get reimbursed for these sessions according to your benefits! (Same goes for my counselling service which you can learn more about here.)

​*Please note that the term "coaching" is only used to differentiate this service from our "clinical counselling" services. At Together We Thrive Coaching & Counselling, "coaching" for BC residents refers to a style of psychotherapy that includes additional aspects of what would be considered in line with coaching / ADHD coaching, such as the following: a primary focus on present and future contexts; goal-setting; homework assigned by the practitioner/coach; accountability from the practitioner/coach in between sessions (i.e., check-in phone call or texts); and structured sessions that the practitioner/coach facilitates. While this service is marketed as "coaching," it is in fact a form of psychotherapy with structure and support that might mimic coaching sessions.​
Financial Hardship. If you are interested in accessing any Together We Thrive Coaching & Counselling services; however, you are unable to afford them at this time, please book a connection call as there may be some financial support options available to you.
