ADHD Women's Weekend

Enjoy a mindful weekend of somatic movement, sound bowls, and aromatherapy while learning to regulate emotions, manage negative thinking, and get into action even when feeling stuck and unmotivated.

​

This is a mental health group geared toward personal development and relaxation that will teach you new skills in an experiential way by trying out new strategies in a safe, supportive environment alongside two clinical counsellors.

 

Please note that your benefits provider may provide reimbursement to you for this event.

No diagnosis required. Open to women (19+) who resonate with ADHD symptoms.

  • Afternoon Location: Sweet Freedom Yoga Studio

  • Lunch break will occur between morning sessions at the Salmon Arm Wharf and afternoon sessions at Sweet Freedom Yoga Studio (Time TBD)

Theresa Seefried, RSW, MSW

ADHD Coach,  Clinical Counsellor,  Owner of Together We Thrive Coaching

As a woman who was diagnosed with ADHD in 2022, Theresa understands both the struggles and superpowers that come from living with ADHD. Theresa is passionate about supporting adults with ADHD to overcome overwhelm, embrace their ADHD, and achieve fulfillment in their everyday lives. 

​

In this weekend workshop for women with ADHD, Theresa will teach you how to regulate your emotions, manage any negative thoughts you may experience, and get motivated to take action - even when you feel stuck!  

​

Strategies and mindset techniques that will be shared have proved to be transformative in Theresa's life to alleviate her own struggles as well as those of her clients in both counselling and coaching settings. Many teachings are derived from successful coaches that Theresa has learned from, including Tony Robbins, Mel Robbins, Brooke Castillo, and Tracy Otsuka. Theresa will also integrate Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into the workshop series' teachings.

Registered Clinical Counsellor,  Registered Yoga Teacher

Lisa Marie is a Certified Yoga Teacher registered with Yoga Alliance. She is also a trauma-informed Registered Clinical Counsellor (#21260) who holds a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology. Her professional background includes over 24 years of combined work experience in the human services field.

 

Mental health and well-being have always been a great passion of hers. She is inspired by listening to client stories and is honoured to have the opportunity to support clients in their mental health and wellness planning.

 

Lisa Marie focuses on her client’s strengths and brings a person-centred, culturally respectful approach to the therapeutic relationship. Her goal is to help clients identify their hidden strengths, personal abilities and foster a sense of purpose.

 

She aims to practice daily self-care in the form of mindfulness and a combination of physical and immersive nature therapy.

Susie Sayers

Sound Bowl Musician, Certified Aromatherapist, and Wholistic Practitioner

Susie is a wholistic practitioner and certified aromatherapist trained in reiki, tuning forks and sound bowls.

 

She is an advocate for supporting and promoting women’s mental wellness and holding spaces for growth and self acceptance. She has a passion for helping woman throughout their journeys and supporting them to identify their strengths & barriers, advocate for themselves, and find success in reaching their goals. She has facilitated several workshops focused on empowering women to embrace their truth, identify and alter their inner thoughts, and amplify their voices.

​

Through her practice, she sets her intentions on harmonizing mind, body and spirit through the power of sound, energy, and aromatherapy. She is driven by the power of intentional gatherings, and inspired by the magic that unfolds when hearts and minds come together.

​

Susie is grateful for the opportunity to guide you on a journey towards inner balance and harmony, as she offers a space for you to uncover the power and uniqueness within yourself. Delve into her world of healing and relaxation through the enchanting realm of sound bowls. While setting and focusing on personal intentions, Susie will lead you through a series of specialized frequencies intended to align & restore your chakras, create stillness, and find mental clarity.

Are payment plans available?

Yes, you can secure your spot by paying 50% of the full ticket price ($175) right away then paying the remaining 50% prior to May 31st, 2025.

How many participants will there be?

Minimum 4 participants to run the event.

Maximum 10 spots available.
